Shinsung S Type Fuse Cutout provides protection to the overhead electrical distribution systems. This Fuse Cutout provides reliable protection from low-level overloads that melt the fuse link, intermediate faults, and very high faults, through maximum interrupt capacity.
S Type fuse cutout also provides a visible break sectionalizing point for maintenance personnel and functions as a loadbreak switch, when used in conjunction with a portable loadbreak tool.
- A half inch inside diameter of Shinsung cutout's 100 ampere fusetube increases internal pressure giving superior and reliable expulsion action.
- The inside liner is constructed of arc-quenching born fiber
- Shinsung fuse cutout may be packed together with one bracket with bolt accessories for cross-arm mounting
- By using a copper arc shortening rod inside the top of the fusetube, higher interrupt ratings are obtainable. An arc shortening rod is attached to the cap of some fusetubes and lowers the fuse link within the fusetube
- Tin-plated bronze parallel groove type terminals are standard on Shinsung cutouts.
