SMCB Ring Main Circuit Breaker is pad mounted fully deadfront switchgear for up to 25.8kV, 630A underground system, combining puffer load break switches and vacuum fault interrupters. SMCB series switchgear incorporates grounding switches in every ways to provide safety and faster operation.

Every bushing in this switchgear is installed with one set of CT and voltage sensor each, so all the electrical values of connected distribution system can be measured. And, combined with SCADA-mate control based on SEL-551 relay or SEL-501-2 relay and RTU, this switchgear can be remotely operated from system control center.

SF6 Gas Insulation Media which is enclosed in stainless steel tank sealed for life and maintenance free with less than 0.2% leakage rate per year
